About Tail Waggerz
I have been around animals my entire life—starting with family pets. My father always owned hunting dogs and my mother worked as a groomer, boarder and responsible breeder of both dogs and cats. I have many fond memories of helping her with her business while growing up. Now, years later, my love for animals has extended into my own family. In 2015 I decided to rescue a dog from the SPCA. His name is Joey and he is a German Shorthaired Pointer/Rottweiler.
Combining my unending love for animals with my passion for adventure hikes (I enjoy trekking from 5K up to 16K whenever possible) is what sparked the idea for Tail Waggerz. My business lets me interact with animals while being in the great outdoors, but it also allows me the opportunity to help others take care of their own beloved pets when they cannot.
My goal is simple: to help pets maintain happy, healthy and balanced lives while reducing their owners' feelings of stress and/or guilt. Many times these feelings surface while planning vacations or business trips, when working long hours, for those with physical limitations, and for those unable to tend to their pet's needs during the winter months.
